Elks Kids Week - Terms, Conditions and Helpful Hints
Please review the important payment, refund and cancellation policies below.
SIX (6) DAY CAMP
Camping sessions are SIX (6) days long. Please drop off your child/children on Sunday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm and plan on picking up your child on Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 9:30am.
COVID INFORMATION
We will be operating camp in accordance with the State of Minnesota Department of Health guidelines. There are some COVID specific changes that you need to be aware - for example, car pooling across multiple families TO camp is not permitted. However it is permitted for the ride home. If your child becomes ill (with or without COVID), you must come and pick up your child. If there are other policies and/or procedures that impact you or your child (e.g. negative COVID test prior to attendance), we will be providing that information in the coming weeks. We expect guidance from the State of Minnesota to be in flux over the next several months. We ask for your patience since things may change as we implement plans to adhere to the requirements.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
The camper fee ($175 for Elks child / $225 for Non-Elks child) is due at the time of registration in order to secure your camper's spot in camp. If you fill out the registration form but do not continue to check out and pay for the spot, your spot is not confirmed. Please be prepared to register and pay for the camp session in one go. Also, when you complete the payment information in Pay Pal, be sure to click on "COMPLETE ORDER" on our web site to finish the transaction. You will then receive an order confirmation with a link to a receipt.
REFUND POLICY
We will be operating camp in accordance with the State of Minnesota Department of Health guidelines. If the state policies and/or procedures change such that we cannot hold camp safely or if your child becomes ill and is unable to attend camp, we will refund any monies paid for camper registration.
MEDICAL REASON FOR CANCELLATION
We understand that medical issues may arise over the summer or just as your child is set to attend camp. Please call us as soon as possible to inform us of your need to cancel. We will ask that you submit a written excuse from your child's physician. If your child is sick and there is time and room, we will work with you to switch your camper to a later session.
ELKS CHILD vs. NON-ELKS CHILD
The Elks Kids Week session is intended for the children, grandchildren, nieces and/or nephews of current Elks members of Minnesota (denoted as "Elks Kids"). We also provide a mechanism for Elks Kids to bring along a friend or two who are not related to Elks members (denoted as "Non Elks Kids"). The registration fees and waiting list priority assignment varies based on whether the child is an "Elks Child" or a "Non Elks Child".
OLDER / YOUNGER CHILDREN
If you have a child that is younger or older than our 9-13 age limits, you can still register your child on a wait list. Please select the session you wish the child to attend at checkout. Your child will be put on a wait list and you will be notified at a later date if space is available.
WAIT LISTS
If the session that you desire is full, you can still fill out the form to register your child but a space will NOT be allocated until you have heard from the Camp regarding the wait list. Wait lists are on a first come first serve basis.
REQUIRED MEDICAL FORMS
Please download the medical form here, fill it out and have it with your child when the child arrives at camp.
REGISTERING MULTIPLE CHILDREN
If you are registering multiple children, you must go through the registration form once for each child. However, please note that you can register each child and only check out and pay once. Once you have completed the registration form, you are given two options: 1) Register another child or 2) Complete payment. If you have additional children to register, simply click option 1 and register the next child. When all registrations are complete, click option #2 and ensure the number of registrations you are paying for reflects each child you registered.
Please select the appropriate button to register your child either as an Elks Kid or a Non Elks Kid.
